Museums and heritage sites
Although the most famous French impressionists paintings aren’t kept in the Ottawa Valley collections, and Canada’s famous “Group of Seven” is not widely represented among our local museums, a 90 minute drive to Ottawa, or a 4 hour commute to Montreal, will allow you to meet the great masters of fine art.
You will find a great deal of history in its original surroundings at the local museums and heritage sites. You can discover the real Roots of Canadian history walking the trails that were once explored by the pioneers who developed the Capital region of Canada.
