ATV trails in the Ottawa Valley
Admirers of technical sports could explore the Ottawa Valley on an ATV in cooperation with the Renfrew County All Terrain Vehicle Club Inc. (RCATV). In the Ottawa Valley you can enjoy about 600 km of established and well maintained ATV trails, some of them run close to the south border of Goldenville cottage resort on Golden Lake. A map of the trail can be seen here.
RCATV partners with the Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance (EOTA), the County of Renfrew, Ottawa Valley Tourist Association, and the Ministry of Natural Resources bring linked trails to Renfrew County. ATVing excitement is offered on its many miles of managed trails that go through forests, lake view vistas and remarkable Ontario landscapes.
Cost of ATV trail permit
The cost of a trail permit from RCATV was $140/season; $75/week or $20/day and provided access to trails in Ontario and Québec. Permits can be purchased at a number of locations in the Ottawa Valley.
For more fresh information, trail maps or where to purchase permits, visit the RCATV website at www.renfrewcountyatv.ca.
